Billy continues to work with the various therapists. They did a test of his ability to swallow today; they said he’s swallowing, but weakly. They’re going to be working with him to improve his swallowing ability. I think he’s really missing the taste of food.
They’ve moved Billy into a semiprivate room, but with no roommate – which means Gina gets a bed, which is really a good thing. She’s had some blood sugar problems the last couple of days, and really needs some rest.
More than likely I’ll be disappearing for a few days sometime very soon. My grandmother — who is 101 years old — appears to be in her last days. We will miss her, of course; but a person couldn’t ask for a richer, more meaningful life, or to have loved and been loved by more people. If it’s time for her to move into her mansion, I know she’s ready.
Thanks for continuing to pray for Billy & Gina. I pray God will bless you all for your faithfulness.
